Tag Birthday Card - Little Flowers

COPYRIGHT MARZYCARDS. 2007 - 2011. All rights reserved. HOW Tos are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. NO COMMERCIAL USE. A little pot of bright flowers. Made from delicate handmade papers.

1. Use Sizzix to cut tags (1 x lilac and 1 x white). Cut 2 flower pots in (terracotta and chocolate brown card). Cut your oblong shapes in lavender, white and chartreuse and round out the corners with a corner punch. That's all the cutting done!

2. Trim the chocolate brown to make the soil, then punch 3 tiny holes for the flowers. Thread 3 flowers into holes, as they are delicate don't glue them to the card. You'll get a 3-D effect this way.
Hang in there we're nearly there...

3. Punch 3 small holes in terracotta flowerpot and add 3 matching brads. Carefully hide flower stems and glue chocolate brown soil onto the flower pot. (If you're feeling crafty, then matt the flowerpot onto light blue card, this will also hide the stems of the brads too!)

4. Print Happy Birthday on vellum and add under the flowerpot as you glue it to the lavender oblong. (Adhesive vellum works well for this). Next glue lavender oblong onto white and then green card and finally onto the lilac tag! Done!

To finish attach lilac and white tags with an orange flower eyelet (as I ran out of chartreuse). Loop a lavender satin ribbon through the top of your tag and your card is complete!

ps Yes, it has quite a few steps, however, cutting everything first, helps to speed up the whole process. Oh and hope you find the adhesive vellum easier to position on your card than fiddling with the printer and aligning text directly on to the card itself!
